Prayer is central to our life together at St. John’s.

Every day, your clergy, staff, and members of our community pray for those on our prayer list. Each Sunday, we also pray as a community for:

The Universal Church, its members, and its mission
The Nation and all in authority
The welfare of the world
The concerns of the local community
Those who suffer and those in any trouble and
The departed (with commemoration of a saint when appropriate) (Book of Common Prayer, 383)

To add a name to the public prayer list read on Sunday mornings, please call the office and be prepared to give the following information:
Your name, and the name of the person to be added to the list
Permission from the person for them to be added by full name or first name only
How long (if known) they would like to be on the prayer list.
